SpOvum Featured in Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Research News for IVF Innovation

We are proud to announce that SpOvum Technologies has been featured in the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Research News for our groundbreaking contributions to IVF and Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). The article highlights our commitment to improving IVF success rates through advanced robotics and AI-driven solutions.

One of the key innovations covered in the feature is ROBO-ICSI, an automated system designed to enhance intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). Unlike traditional methods that require highly skilled embryologists to manually handle delicate procedures, ROBO-ICSI uses a robotic gripper to hold the oocyte (egg cell) with precision, reducing the risk of damage and improving fertilization outcomes.

Our Co-Founder and CEO, Dr. Ramnath Babu T J, shared insights on the critical need for data-driven and automation-based solutions in ART. With current IVF success rates averaging between 30-40%, SpOvum is focused on bridging the gap through innovations such as AI-assisted embryo selection, computer-aided semen analysis (CASA), and real-time monitoring systems to help clinicians make better-informed decisions.

The article also discusses how emerging technologies like electronic witnessing and AI-powered embryo evaluation are transforming fertility care, ensuring accuracy, reducing errors, and enhancing patient outcomes.

We are honored to be recognized by IISc for our contributions to reshaping the future of reproductive healthcare. Read the full feature here to explore how technology is driving the next phase of IVF advancements.
